What do NRIs talk about? This is an interesting question. One would imagine that after years if not generations living away from India, NRIs would be very different. Perhaps American/British politics, the stars of Hollywood and the shopping marts of Harrods and Bloomsbury would be the topics of conversation.

The answer however is surprising. The vast majority of conversations are the same as in India. The majority of NRI interactions are devoted to discussing work, family, kids, house, Bollywood, songs, jokes etc.
